Card for my friend

Hi everyone, sorry to have been away so long. Well here is a card I made recently for a friend who had to visit hospital, only for a day but it upset her a lot. This is the Popcorn the Bear cd, its a twister and the backing paper and insert where from the same cd. It was quite easy to make, the outline around the edge of the card is done with yellow stickles, which I though wouldn't be very good but how wrong I was, it worked out beautifully, and what was even better it made her smile.

Card for my friend

This card was made for a friend of mine who had to go into hospital for a very short stay, mainly to cheer her up, she was afraid of what was happening to her, but now she is a lot easier in her mind. Its popcorn bear twister and I was so pleased at the way it came out. Got the images from the cd florals, the backing paper and insert. It is really a good cd made by Crafter Companion. The gold is yellow stickles which proved to be very easy to add to the card once it was done, and it really did'nt take that long. She love it.

card for my boss

card for my Boss, yes that is correct its my bosses birthday on the 8th april, so I made him this card. He is a good boss really, doesn't give us too much hassle. And he has been good to me even when he expects me to work on a sunday when I'm susposed to be hearing mass. Yep he is a Priest but a good one. He has a lovely dog labordor called Milo, which is one of the most gentle breeds there is. So I don't know wether this is a lab or a Great Dane? not that good on dog breeds!! I got the picture of Peerless Designs and the card stock from some I have already, the backing paper is from the magical moments cd from create and craft. This is a smashing cd lovely pics of dogs. Also the inserts are good to especially with the little paws as a border. love Kath

Well this card is made for my youngest grandson Robert, he will be 3 at the end of this month. Its a book card, and I have never done one of these before. Wasn't as hard as I though it would be. The card stock is from my own, but the cd is from my daughter-in-law Donna, she has a shop on the web called Donnas den of crafts, how she manages to do cards and run the web shop I don't know, she has three boys and one of them is Robert. Every page is different I have used peel offs, which are donald duck and mickey and minnie mouse as well as goofy. then on the last page I have put a little boy who looks to me like he is fishing. Got the peel offs and the little boy from the craft shop. I hope you like it and please comment, it does make me a better crafter believe me. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi every one, Kath here once again. Just finished making this card for my older grandson Michael, he'll be 23 next week, got image from Joanne Sheens Wild Things, it so really. My grandson lives with this dog and his name is Jack, I've seen him looking like this when he did some thing wrong. Its so cute. All through I use the term Dog lightly he is as big as a young donkey and just as heavy. The card itself was some I have in, the photo is from a cd, and the brads I bought from a craft shop near me, also the peel offs. But it turn out so very well.

Baby Elephants

oops sorry about this everyone, but nearly forgot this card I've also made in the last few days. This one is from Jayne Netley Mayhew, its the one with the wild animals in it, I like this one very much. When I first printed the elephants out they didn't look very impressive so had to draw in the wrinkles on the elephants trunks and the grass in the back ground, now I have to say this but I'm not so good at colouring in seems to go wrong for me but I even surprised myself with this one, the card is just plain card but as I said not too impressed with the colour when it came out. Also used the grey from the glaze 3D roller pens, which is so easy to use. Havn't quite finished it yet because I dont no who to send it too. So no verse, but I will find some one.
Hope to hear from you all soon.

Very New Great Grandson

Hi Everyone, Kath here. well over this weekend my granddaughter present me with a great grandson, no: 4 I might add, so I've made this card for them. The card is some I bought from my daughter-in-law who runs a craft shop on the web, the backing paper I got from paper craft cd, and the medallion i bought from the shop in my church, its of a guardian angel, and it has a prayer on the back for them all. it took me all of 4 hours to complete, hard work yes but well worth it. The baby's name is Liam John and he weight in at 9lbs 4oz. I am looking forward to seeing him now. I also put some silver peel offs that I bought weeks ago and they look like swirls. Well I guess thats all for now, hope you like it.
