Hi Everyone, its me once again, turning up like a bad penny. This card is from the cd of Squeezee Cards and its called furry friends. It has 7 images to it but it was a bit of a pain to make. It really needs time and, of course peace and quite. Which in my case means night time. It also needs pretty strong glue and a lot better card than I have made this one with. But never mind its done now and I am learning to" do better" Thanks for the interest that you have shown so far in these cards.
Love from me, Kath. x x

Sunday 25 April 2010

Hi Everyone, well here is another of the "Squeezee Cards" that I have gotten from the cd, oh by the way thats the name of the cd too. Its so easy to make and you do get simple instuction with it. They could'nt have made it any easier than this. I have printed the colour section on Decoupage paper and the sides with card, and I also used double sided tape, because its so much stronger that the pen. And as you can see it came out just the way I wanted too. Hope you like it, and will comment on it please!!

Tuesday 20 April 2010

Hi everyone, just finished this card for my husband sister, she lives in the south of england. I got the card itself from my craft studios and also the insert. I just then decorated it with some very delicate peel offs(fact is they kept on breaking as I tried to lift them off the paper that they where on) take about patience being a virtue, but its was well worth it. its call butterflies and I also used some of the glazed pens in white and black to bring out the colour of this one. It needed to stand out.
Hope you like it!!

The cards I promised last week

Hi Everyone well this is a card I promised that I would put on the web as soon as I got a problem sorted,I actually made this one on a whim. The image is from Joanne Sheens cd, and we all know how lovely her images are. Its a tri fold card, and some of the images are to die for. I made the flowers from printable vellum and then I put some sticky fingers glaze drops to give it a sheen. Hope you like it!

Sorry for the delay

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in sending my cards but Ive been poorly with a really bad chest infection and the medication the doctor gave me just knocked me of my feet. But I'm a lot better now, I have made this card and it is my very first attempt at doing a card like this.Got the images of a new cd by Robert Adams and friends. Really did'nt expect it to turn out quite so good. The card stock is some that I bought ages ago and I just fill in the colour where I thought it need to be brought out, with my metallic pens. I have done others but I am finding it hard to get them to go to my pictures and the moment, but when I do I will post them.
Hope you like this one, please comment.

Card for my friend

Hi everyone, sorry to have been away so long. Well here is a card I made recently for a friend who had to visit hospital, only for a day but it upset her a lot. This is the Popcorn the Bear cd, its a twister and the backing paper and insert where from the same cd. It was quite easy to make, the outline around the edge of the card is done with yellow stickles, which I though wouldn't be very good but how wrong I was, it worked out beautifully, and what was even better it made her smile.

Card for my friend

This card was made for a friend of mine who had to go into hospital for a very short stay, mainly to cheer her up, she was afraid of what was happening to her, but now she is a lot easier in her mind. Its popcorn bear twister and I was so pleased at the way it came out. Got the images from the cd florals, the backing paper and insert. It is really a good cd made by Crafter Companion. The gold is yellow stickles which proved to be very easy to add to the card once it was done, and it really did'nt take that long. She love it.

card for my boss

card for my Boss, yes that is correct its my bosses birthday on the 8th april, so I made him this card. He is a good boss really, doesn't give us too much hassle. And he has been good to me even when he expects me to work on a sunday when I'm susposed to be hearing mass. Yep he is a Priest but a good one. He has a lovely dog labordor called Milo, which is one of the most gentle breeds there is. So I don't know wether this is a lab or a Great Dane? not that good on dog breeds!! I got the picture of Peerless Designs and the card stock from some I have already, the backing paper is from the magical moments cd from create and craft. This is a smashing cd lovely pics of dogs. Also the inserts are good to especially with the little paws as a border. love Kath

Monday 8 March 2010

Well this card is made for my youngest grandson Robert, he will be 3 at the end of this month. Its a book card, and I have never done one of these before. Wasn't as hard as I though it would be. The card stock is from my own, but the cd is from my daughter-in-law Donna, she has a shop on the web called Donnas den of crafts, how she manages to do cards and run the web shop I don't know, she has three boys and one of them is Robert. Every page is different I have used peel offs, which are donald duck and mickey and minnie mouse as well as goofy. then on the last page I have put a little boy who looks to me like he is fishing. Got the peel offs and the little boy from the craft shop. I hope you like it and please comment, it does make me a better crafter believe me. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi every one, Kath here once again. Just finished making this card for my older grandson Michael, he'll be 23 next week, got image from Joanne Sheens Wild Things, it so really. My grandson lives with this dog and his name is Jack, I've seen him looking like this when he did some thing wrong. Its so cute. All through I use the term Dog lightly he is as big as a young donkey and just as heavy. The card itself was some I have in, the photo is from a cd, and the brads I bought from a craft shop near me, also the peel offs. But it turn out so very well.

Baby Elephants

oops sorry about this everyone, but nearly forgot this card I've also made in the last few days. This one is from Jayne Netley Mayhew, its the one with the wild animals in it, I like this one very much. When I first printed the elephants out they didn't look very impressive so had to draw in the wrinkles on the elephants trunks and the grass in the back ground, now I have to say this but I'm not so good at colouring in seems to go wrong for me but I even surprised myself with this one, the card is just plain card but as I said not too impressed with the colour when it came out. Also used the grey from the glaze 3D roller pens, which is so easy to use. Havn't quite finished it yet because I dont no who to send it too. So no verse, but I will find some one.
Hope to hear from you all soon.

Hi Everyone, Kath here. well over this weekend my granddaughter present me with a great grandson, no: 4 I might add, so I've made this card for them. The card is some I bought from my daughter-in-law who runs a craft shop on the web, the backing paper I got from paper craft cd, and the medallion i bought from the shop in my church, its of a guardian angel, and it has a prayer on the back for them all. it took me all of 4 hours to complete, hard work yes but well worth it. The baby's name is Liam John and he weight in at 9lbs 4oz. I am looking forward to seeing him now. I also put some silver peel offs that I bought weeks ago and they look like swirls. Well I guess thats all for now, hope you like it.

andy,s birthday card

Well I nearly forgot to add in the card I made for my son Andrew, he was 43 today and doing very well on it I may add. This card is one I down loaded from another of my cd, but once again I cant for the life of me remember. It was very easy to make now I come to think of it, except for the little plane thats on the top of the card, the RAF where having a fund raising drive at our local super market so I made a donation and was given this, so I put it on his card thinking how lucky I was to have been there that day. Its made of scolloped edge sliver card and the insert is green to match the planes. They are spitfires. So thats my work done for a little while, well until I get a cd that I order last sunday dogs who fall asleep and then I will have to make one for my boss who is a dog lover, which I am really, but then I like cats too. See how soon confusion set in when you reach that age??? ha ha ha. load of good wishes to all who have entered in the competions hope to hear from you soon. Kath x x x
This is the other card I made for the same friend but for her daughter and I must confess a whole lot easier. Just straight forward, no twisty turns in this one. The Images I got of Joanne Sheens triple Cd and I think its called I cant remember, no its not called that but I have so many of her cd and the create and craft `that I cant remember which one it was now. Talk about old age, hahahah. Thanks any why for listening to my ravings. `````````````

Hi everyone,
me again, just to show I've not been idle during the last couple of days or should I say weeks. This card has been made for a friend of mine whose friends have just adopted a lovely baby boy, he has his baptism on the last sunday of this month. It was quite a long process at first I didnt quite understand what she wanted but we manged in the end to sort out the problem. And now I can say she is over the moon about this card. I have also made one for her daughter, but this card I think was the worst especially the edges, O where they difficult. Well hope you like them.

Ok this is the other Grandson birthday card, he is also 8 and yes they were born within 24hrs of each other, and they are the best of friends. Which is lovely to see. But they where born in different hospitals, it was a fun at the time i think?and I also got this from the Robert Adams popup cards, this one was not as hard to do and as you can see his name is Joe.
well here i go again, this is a birthday card for my Grandson Adam. Its taken from the Robert Adam's pop up cards, not that easy to do but when needs must, we learn a way. His birthday is on the 28th of Jan and he will be 8yrs old. He loves the T-rex and these two look the part.

Hi everyone, Well here is any other card I have made recently, its from Glitter and Glitz range, from Debbi Moore Designs. The only reason I made this is because I like the look of the lady, not for a birthday or any thing else. But it turn out quite nice and it was very easy to do. Its a good CD there are three in the pack that i bought from Create and Craft, the other two are Art Deco and Art Nouveau. Hope you all like it, and hope to hear from you soon. Kath
